Our Journey
Born of a divine mandate — a covenant community built on prayer, faith, and the power of the Holy Spirit in the heart of Dorchester
The Beginning
Boston Valley Of Blessings was not built by human ambition — it was born out of a divine mandate. Pastor Adler Jean and First Lady Erna Jean received a holy calling from God to plant a house of prayer, healing, and Spirit-filled worship in the heart of Dorchester, Massachusetts. The name itself declares an everlasting promise: a Valley Of Blessings.
Drawn from Isaiah 64:8 — 'We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand' — the Valley represents that sacred place of humility, surrender, and divine refinement where God's blessing flows most powerfully. It was in this spirit of yielded hearts and unwavering faith that the seeds of this ministry were planted.
“We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.”
Isaiah 64:8Our Founders

Pastor Adler Jean answered the call of God with a resolute and uncompromising faith. From the earliest stirrings of his ministerial calling, he pursued God's mandate with singular devotion — studying the Word, developing a deep intercessory prayer life, and cultivating the kind of pastoral heart that would one day carry an entire congregation. Ordained and commissioned for the work of the Gospel, he was sent not to build an institution, but to raise a people — a covenant community marked by the fire of the Holy Spirit and the love of Christ.
First Lady Erna Jean has been the quiet, steadfast strength behind this vision — a woman whose intercession, wisdom, and grace have covered this ministry from its very first gathering. Together, they carry a shared vision that has never wavered: to see every man, woman, and child in Dorchester transformed by a living encounter with Jesus Christ — rooted in His Word, walking in divine purpose, and empowered by the Spirit to become everything God created them to be.
God did not send us to Dorchester by accident. This valley was chosen — and we were chosen for it. As long as there is brokenness in this city, there will be a fire burning at this address.

Milestones
More than three decades ago, God placed an unquenchable fire in the heart of Pastor Adler Jean — a divine mandate to plant a house of prayer, power, and Spirit-filled worship in the heart of Dorchester, Massachusetts. The vision was clear from the very start: this valley would know the blessing of God.
A small, faith-filled company of believers came together in the early years — worshipping with fervency, interceding with boldness, and believing God for a harvest that had not yet appeared. Every gathering was a declaration: God was at work in this city.
Through faithful preaching, consistent discipleship, and the sovereign outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the congregation grew and deepened. New ministries formed, families were transformed, and Boston Valley Of Blessings began to take its place as a spiritual anchor in the Dorchester community.
God opened the doors for the church to step into a permanent home — a dedicated space where the presence of God could be cultivated without limit, the Word planted deeply, and the mission of discipleship carried across Greater Boston with full and undivided purpose.
More than three decades since that first holy mandate, Boston Valley Of Blessings stands faithfully at 1000 Blue Hill Ave, Dorchester — a thriving, multicultural covenant community serving its city, sending the light of Christ into the darkness, and believing with full confidence that the greatest chapters of this story are still ahead.
Looking Forward

We stand on the promise of Isaiah 64:8 — that as we surrender to the Potter's hand, He shapes us into something far greater than we could design ourselves. We believe the greatest chapters of this story are still being written.
